ProForm 6.0 RT review

The 6.0 RT will make a perfect addition to any home gym if you are not looking to spend an arm and a leg on a higher grade treadmill. Don’t take the price at face value though, one should always do try to understand what exactly is on offer before buying it. That is where we come in.

Customers who have already purchased this have provided some feedback around the web that may help you draw your own conclusions regarding the effectiveness and strength of this treadmill.

While some users may be looking for something with a bit more technology, others will definitely appreciate what is offered for the price. In my opinion this treadmill may be a lower budget option but it has plenty of features that you would find in some of the commercial and premium grade treadmills. Find out a bit more below where we look at it’s various specifications.

  • Workout programs – In total there is eight different exercise programs or apps as I like to call them. For users newer to cardio equipment, who may be a bit baffled by this term, these programs are built in instructions or targets to meet that are more often then not specifically designed to work you harder and achieve the weight loss results you are looking for.
  • Design – Impressive design features that enable users to fold the treadmill up when not in use. This makes light work of storage solutions and it is just so much more convenient then traditional, bulkier models.
  • Users can go at their own pace regardless of your current health and fitness ability. It also includes quick push button controls on the console to easily change the speed to the level you feel most comfortable with. Not too much though, you need to push your body into a position where it is feeling the stress to burn off those excess calories.
  • It has built in incline settings which also has a convenient push button solution to simulate hill running. The different speeds and hill settings users can use will really help bring a bit of variety into every workout. If you have not used this setting before, it can really enhance and improve upon results when used in conjunction with other types of training.
  • It provides a good amount of workout space. Users won’t feel to closed in while jogging with dimensions of 69.5 inches by 28.5 inches by 12 inches. Sprinting may be an issue though, and if this is something you will be looking to do in the form of hiit training or something similar, you may want to opt for a model with slightly more power and space.

What are consumers saying?

Let’s us now look at what consumers have noticed about this machine. We want to pick the good and bad points and bundle them together in one place, right here.

Amazon – overall, it seems a larger percentage of people who have purchased this model have left positive feedback with plenty of good things to say about it. There are the odd negative points, like many products in the fitness market, but as a whole, buyers seem to appreciate the ease of assembly, and the amount of features available for the price. One negative comment we saw was aimed more at the customer services of ProForm rather than the product itself.

Before you finalize any decision, I would advise you to check our treadmill ratings page where consumers can find many different reviews and analysis of various models. Additionally, it may be worth checking out the 2000 and 795 model

For a lower to medium tier treadmill, the ProForm 6.0 RT stands out from many other similar equipment on the market. It includes a good amount of resistance and will allow users to easily control incline and speed through push button navigation on the console. What’s more it has a great space saving design, a feature that will be appreciated in any home gym.
