Stamina Body Trac Glider 1050 rower review

The Stamina 1050 is a indoor rower which is probably more suited for those of you looking for something that little bit more affordable. This model in particular fits the bill not only because of the price tag or popularity, but it’s features and functions which will give you an excellent full body workout helping you burn fat, tone up and improve your endurance.

More notably it does all of the above while remaining compact, making it a fantastic solution for home users. Many rowing machines are difficult to store away, however with this model you get a rower which is easy to manoeuvre, fold and store away in the corner of a room or a cupboard. It’s dimensions are 58.25 inches by 42.5 inches by 18.125 inches (L X W X H) further highlighting the fact that this has been designed to enable the user to conduct there rowing exercises with the minimum amount of space available to them.

While some rowers struggle with the durability factor while making compact designs this rower has a fairly sturdy and durable steel frame that can take user weights of up to 250 pounds, quite respectable in my opinion.

The seat is padded and sculpted to ensure you are always comfortable through every stage of your workout. The rowing machine itself is very easy to use and a excellent bit of kit for new and veteran rowers.

The resistance levels are fully adjustable with it’s gas shock system, you can gradually progress through varying levels of difficulty, improving your overall fitness levels along the way.

The on-board electronic display/monitor allows you to track your key rowing statistics including your amount of strokes, the time taken and the amount of calories you have burnt since the start of your workout. The monitor itself has a simple design, which is easy to use and read.

Customer reviews

The 1050 rower is extremely popular, and has a ton of reviews around the net. The wide majority comment on how sturdy the design is for a compact rowing machine. Others talk about value for money and comfort.

While 1050 is not the most expensive or high tech rower o the market, it is in my opinion one of the best value out there for the amount of features, the compact design, and sturdy frame indicating a durable rower for a very reasonable price. The best way to think about it is to ask yourself how much money you will save in the long run vs going to a commercial gym? Obviously the membership alone is going to set you back a fair amount, but the is also commuting and limited time slots. There is lot’s of positives to take from this and it can be ideal for home use.
